More wiring. 4 hours

The past few days I've worked on my wiring. I have got all of my wiring roughed  in. Now I've taped the harness together and have removed it from the plane where I will wrap it with a spiral wrap to keep it all

together. 

Wiring 2 hrs

Tonight I worked on wiring. My plan is to get all, or the majority of my wires ran, and put them together as an assembly, or harness. Right now I am just routing wires, cutting, and tagging. Looks like a mess now but it will be nice clean when I get done with it.  Already figured out I'm going to need about 5 times the wire I thought. 

Wheel pant support bracket 2 hour

I built the wheel pant support brackets. 

Instrument panel 4 hrs. 447 total hrs

The past couple of nights I've worked on laying out the instrument panel. I've also ordered some wiring  materials which should be here tomorrow. I'm tired of working on stuff with no real tangible result and looking forward to the instrument panel and wiring work. 

Misc 4 hour

I have spent the past several times working on the plane on misc items. Tying up loose ends and doing little things that don't amount to much, but have to be done

Made fairings

Fairings, wing walks, misc. 6 hrs

Today I did a lot of little things.  I tied up a lot of loose ends. I will thank myself later for taking care of the loose ends as they come up rather than waiting till the end. Days like today aren't very rewarding, but it has to be done. I riveted my rudder today.  I got my left wing walk ready for riveting by drilling. Trimming, deburring, and countersinking that was needed. I also finished the work on the two fairings between the vertical stabilizer and the horizontal stab.  I installed some rivets on the horizontal stabilizer  that needed to be installed. I installed the trim tab on the elevator and painted the elevator control horn.   

Wing walks. Stabilizer fairing. 4 hrs

The past couple of weeks I have worked on my wing walks. Ii used 050 aluminum on the walks. One is riveted and the other is clecoed. It's ready for deburring and riveting. I started working on the layout of the stabiles fairing. I used the template in the plans and will have to add some to it.
