Axles, wheels, misc. 8 hrs

Today I got a lot of work done. I mount ears my axles, and caliper brackets on the landing gear. Then I packed my wheel bearing and mounted the wheels on the axles. I am using the axles and wheels that I bought from someone. I cleaned the all up like new and I decided to order new brake pads. Once I turned the fuselage over, I cut and clecoed my floor panel. I also cut an oval hole in the f6 bulkhead for my should harnesses to pass through. I install a stiffening angle on the backside of the f6 bulkhead and another angle between the longerons to attach the shoulder harness to. Got a good days work in today

Bottom center skin and supports 6 hrs

Today I worked on the bottom center section and floor supports. I also removed the landing gear and installed the bottom skin then reinstalled the landing gear. I installed countersunk rivets between the gear and bottom skin.

Landing gear 1 hr

Yesterday I received my landing gear. I had been waiting for months to order it and I finally came across some money and pulled the trigger. I tore the cardboard off of it last night and today when I got home from work I drilled and installed the four 5/16 bolts. I had to flip it over to catch a peek. Tomorrow I will take my bottom skin and bend the 1/2 flange that goes in front of the gear then remove the gear and start fitting the bottom center section skin and floor supports.

Arm rests. 2 hrs. 374 total

Today I rolled both of my armrests at work and when I got home I trimmed and installed one of them. I am going to wait until I fab my forward interior panels to drill the holes that go through both. I went flying tonight and got a nice photo of the sunset. Perfect night

Arm rest supports 2 hrs

Last night I worked on my arm rest supports some more. I got both sides done. I also layed out my armrest panels so that I can take them to work with me to roll them.

Sidepanel supports 2 hrs

Last night I installed two of the four radius support angles for the armrests.  I also took my tank cover and my other top skin to the shop this morning and rolled them to fit the profile of the respective bulkheads.

Wing walk. 2hrs

Today I worked on my wing walk supports. Pictures to come. I also shortened my rudder pedal pivot bolts about 1/2 " to give them less room to Cantilever past the pedals
