Riveting fuselage 1 hour 255 total hours

Tonight I riveted the left side fuselage skin and the belly skin. I plan on leaving the right side clecoed for now in case i need to access any more of the fuselage

Rudder cable and deburring 9 hours

Today I ran the other rudder cable, trim cable, and a polyethylene tube to run wire in for the tail light/strobe. I also deburred all of the rear fuselage skins and filed the edges smooth. I introduced my son to the deburring tool. He thought it was " fun". Glad he likes it. I reinstalled the skins with clecos then removed for some final trimming. After that I reinstalled the skins and am ready for riveting. I plan on riveting one of the side skins and the bottom skin then leaving the other side attached with clecos so I have access later if needed. I also fabricated the angle pieces that secure the rudder control cables at the rear of the fuselage.

Rudder control cables 3 hours

Today I ran one of the rudder control cables. I also made the cut in the skin for the control to pass through.

Deburring 1 hour

Tonight I deburred and filed smooth some of the tail cone skins. I've got a bunch of deburring and smoothing of edges to do!

Elevator pushrod 5 hours

Today I worked on running the elevator pushrod from the stick back to the area between f11 and f12 bulkheads. Took some time getting the bearings lined up so the pushrod slides effortlessly. I also got some nut plates from a friend and worked on attaching them to the inspection plate backers. I removed the rear skins and started deburring the fuselage. Next I will run my rudder cables and trim control

Rear inspection plates 3 hours

Today I fabricated the two rear inspection plates between the f11 and f12 bulkheads. I still have to drill and rivet nut plates on them

Deburring. Rear belly skin. 3 hrs

Today I drilled all of my 3/32" holes out to 1/8" and removed the skins for deburring. I got all of the deburring done on the longerons and bulkheads. I also finished my skins on my belly between f10 and f12.
